Your data

What we read from your shop

When you connect your shop, we read your shop name, your product listings (titles, descriptions, prices, images, variants), your shipping settings, and your return policies.

For WooCommerce, Shopify, and Big Cartel, we read this data through read-only OAuth access. We cannot edit your listings, change your prices, modify your settings, or interact with your buyers. The connection is a technical limitation, not a policy.

For Etsy, you export a CSV of your listings from Etsy and upload it to TokoSales. We parse the file, build your feeds, and discard the raw file. We never log in to your Etsy shop.

What we store about you

  1. Your email address (so we can send you updates).
  2. Your shop name (so we can identify your account).
  3. Your shop's country and city (so AI agents can tell buyers where your products ship from).

That is the complete list. We do not store your home address, phone number, bank details, or payment information. Your selling platform handles all payments. We never see a penny of your money.

What we do not store

We do not store any information about your buyers. When someone finds your product through an AI agent and clicks through to buy, the purchase happens on your selling platform. We never see the buyer's name, address, or payment details.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the us-east-1 region (Northern Virginia). All data is encrypted in storage and in transit.

For UK and EU sellers, international data transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses. AWS is a certified participant in the Data Privacy Framework.

How to disconnect

You can disconnect at any time. Reply to any TokoSales email and say "disconnect my shop". For OAuth connections, you can also revoke access directly from your selling platform's settings without contacting us.

When you disconnect, we delete your data from our systems within 30 days. Your shop is not affected.

Who can see your data

TokoSales is run by Nigel and Jason. Our Data Protection Officer is Mr Nigel Hysom. We do not share your personal information (email, shop name) with anyone outside TokoSales.

Your product data is published to AI shopping agents in structured form. This is the same product information that is already public on your shop.
