Terms of use

The agreement between you and TokoSales. Written in plain English.

Short version.

You pay a flat monthly fee. We connect your products to AI shopping agents. You can cancel at any time. We never process payments or see your buyers. If something goes wrong, our maximum liability is limited. UK law applies.

By signing up for TokoSales and connecting your shop, you agree to these terms. Please read them. If anything is unclear, email [email protected] and we will explain.

1. Who we are

TokoSales is operated by TokoSales Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 17158783). When these terms say "TokoSales," "we," "us," or "our," they mean TokoSales Limited. When they say "you" or "your," they mean the person or business using the service.

Our registered office is Blaisdon Court, Blaisdon, Longhope, GL17 0AG. Our website is tokosales.ai.

2. What the service does

TokoSales connects your product catalogue to AI shopping agents such as those running on ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity. When you sign up and connect your selling platform, we:

The service uses an escalation checkout model. When an AI agent discovers your product and a buyer wants to buy it, the buyer is sent to your listing on your selling platform to complete the purchase. You keep using your existing payment setup. TokoSales never processes payments on your behalf and never sees buyer payment information.

3. What the service does not include

TokoSales does not:

We rely on third-party APIs to operate. If those APIs change, become unavailable, or impose new restrictions, your service may be affected. We will tell you by email if this happens and will work to restore service.

4. Getting started

To use TokoSales you must:

The connection method varies by platform. WooCommerce sellers install our plugin, which handshakes with us using a per-site API token (we never see your WordPress password). Shopify sellers paste their store domain (we use the public products feed) or, if preferred, paste a custom Admin API token. Big Cartel sellers paste their subdomain. Etsy sellers upload their listings CSV directly. In every case the access is read-only and you can revoke it at any time.

5. Fees and payment

5.1 Subscription fees

Current fees are shown on the TokoSales pricing page. You choose your plan when you sign up. Fees are charged monthly in advance.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. We will add VAT (or the equivalent sales tax) to your invoice where the law requires it, based on where you are based. For UK and EU sellers this is normally handled automatically at checkout.

5.2 Billing

We bill you monthly by card. Payment is taken on the same date each month. If a payment fails, we will email you and retry. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, we may suspend your service until the outstanding amount is paid.

5.3 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If you cancel mid-month, your service continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

5.4 Changes to fees

We will give you at least 30 days notice by email before changing subscription fees. You can cancel before the new fees take effect if you do not want to continue.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your product listings and for fulfilling orders. TokoSales publishes your product data to AI agents. We are not responsible for how AI agents present, rank, or describe your products.

8. Data and privacy

We process your data in line with our Privacy notice. The Privacy notice explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, where it is stored, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

The short version: we store your email address and the secure connection to your shop to run the service. We process your product catalogue to generate AI agent feeds. We never see buyer payment data.

We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC136493. If you have concerns about how we handle your data, contact us at [email protected] or the ICO at ico.org.uk.

9. Intellectual property

9.1 Your content

Your product data, images, and descriptions belong to you. By using TokoSales, you give us a licence to use that data to run your service. That licence covers importing, storing, processing, enriching, and publishing your catalogue data as AI agent feeds. The licence ends when you close your account. We delete your data within 30 days of closure.

9.2 Our platform

The TokoSales service, including all software, AI enrichment pipelines, protocol adapters, and feed generation tools, belongs to TokoSales Limited. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell any part of the service.

9.3 Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them to improve TokoSales. You will not be paid for feedback.

10. Term, suspension, and ending the agreement

10.1 How long the agreement lasts

This agreement starts when you complete signup and continues on a rolling monthly basis until either you or we end it.

10.2 You cancel

You can cancel at any time by emailing [email protected] or by using the cancellation link in any email we send you. You can also revoke our access directly from your selling platform's settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We will send you a confirmation email.

10.3 We suspend or end the service

We may suspend or end the service immediately if:

We may also end the service for any other reason by giving you at least 30 days notice by email. In that case, we will refund any fees you have paid for time after the service ends.

10.4 What happens when the agreement ends

When your account closes, we stop publishing your protocol feeds and we delete your stored data within 30 days. This matches the retention period in our Privacy notice. Any parts of these terms that are meant to continue after the agreement ends (including sections 8, 9, 11, and 13) will do so.

11. Liability

TokoSales is a feed generation and distribution service. We are not liable for:

If we are found liable to you for any reason, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid to TokoSales in the three months before the event that caused the claim. This limit applies to all types of claim, including breach of contract, negligence, and any other legal basis.

11.3 What this does not affect

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

11.4 You indemnify us

You agree to cover any reasonable costs we incur defending a claim from a third party that arises from your product listings or your data. This includes, for example:

This obligation does not apply where the claim is caused by our negligence, our breach of these terms, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law. We will tell you promptly if we receive a claim that may trigger this clause, and we will not settle any claim that requires you to admit fault without your written agreement.

12. Third-party platforms and changes beyond our control

TokoSales depends on the selling platforms you connect (for example, Etsy) and on the AI agent platforms we publish to (for example, ChatGPT and Google Gemini). Those platforms set their own rules, change their APIs, and decide what to publish. We do not control any of that.

If a selling platform or an AI agent platform:

we will tell you by email and explain what it means for your account. If we have to suspend or limit your service because of a platform requirement, we will not do so arbitrarily and we will restore the service as soon as we can.

13. Changes to the service and these terms

We update and improve TokoSales regularly. We may change features, add AI agent platforms, or retire ones that are no longer worth supporting. We will tell you by email about changes that materially affect your service.

We may also update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give you at least 14 days notice by email before the change takes effect. If you continue to use the service after the notice period, you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you can cancel before they take effect.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will try to resolve issues quickly and fairly.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, either party can refer it to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer based in another UK nation or in the EU, you may also have the right to use an alternative dispute resolution service or the courts of the country where you live.

15. Other important points

These terms are the whole agreement between you and TokoSales about the service. They replace any earlier agreements or representations.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms still apply.

We are independent contractors. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship between us.

If we do not enforce a right under these terms on one occasion, that does not mean we give up the right to enforce it in the future.

You may not transfer your account or these terms to another person without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another company, for example if TokoSales is acquired. We will tell you by email if this happens.
