Connect your WooCommerce store

Two ways to connect, both take about two minutes. Pick whichever is easier for you.

Option A: Application Password (recommended today)

Available in every WordPress site from version 5.6 onwards. Nothing to install. You generate a read-only credential and paste it below. You can revoke it at any time from your WordPress profile.

  1. Sign in to your WordPress admin at yourstore.com/wp-admin.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Users → Profile. You land on your own profile page.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the profile page until you see Application Passwords.
If you do not see Application Passwords: your WordPress is older than 5.6, or the feature was disabled by your host. Newer WordPress sites have it by default. Update WordPress, or ask your host to enable Application Passwords.
  4. In the New Application Password Name box, type TokoSales. This is just a label so you can identify the credential later.
  5. Click Add New Application Password.
  6. WordPress shows you a password in the format XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. It is only shown once. Copy it now, paste it into the form below.
Keep the spaces or remove them, either works. The password is read-only on products and shop info. We never get access to your customers, orders, or anything else.
  7. Fill in the form below and click Connect. We start importing your products immediately. You will get an email when the import finishes (usually within five minutes).

We send one email when the import finishes and one report each month with how often AI agents recommended your products.

The full URL of your WordPress site, including https://. Example: https://luckybeanco.com. No trailing slash.

The username you log in to WordPress with. Not your email, your actual username. You can see it on the same profile page where you generated the password.

Paste the six-word password WordPress just showed you. Spaces are fine.

Option B: TokoSales plugin (coming soon)

We have built a one-click WordPress plugin that handshakes with TokoSales automatically when you install it. It is currently under review at wordpress.org. When it goes live we will email every connected seller with the upgrade path. Until then, use Option A above.

Common questions

My WordPress site is behind Cloudflare. Will this work?

Yes. We make standard HTTPS requests to the WP REST API. As long as you have not blocked all bots, we get through. If our import fails with a "blocked by Cloudflare" error, allow our user agent TokoSales/1.0 in your Cloudflare WAF.

My WooCommerce site is multilingual.

We pull products in your store's primary language. Other languages are on our roadmap but not yet available.

Can I revoke access later?

Yes. Go back to Users → Profile → Application Passwords and click Revoke next to the TokoSales row. We stop being able to read your products immediately. Existing data we have already pulled remains in our system until you delete your TokoSales account.

Why do you need my username plus the password?

WordPress Application Passwords use HTTP Basic auth with username + the generated password. That is how the WP REST API works. Different from your login password, which we never see and never want.

My store has 500+ products.

The Core plan supports 500. Larger catalogs cost $5 a month per additional 500 products. Connect first, we will email you about the upgrade if your import exceeds 500.
