How to find your subdomain

Open your Big Cartel storefront in a browser. Look at the address bar at the top of the window. You see a URL that looks like this:

https://willowwick.bigcartel.com ↑ this part is your subdomain

Copy the part before .bigcartel.com and paste it into the box below. In the example above, the subdomain is willowwick. Do not include https:// or .bigcartel.com, just the name.

If your store uses a custom domain like willowwickjewelry.com, you still have a Big Cartel subdomain. To find it, sign in to your Big Cartel admin, click your store name in the top corner, and look at the URL that loads. The subdomain is the part before .bigcartel.com in that URL.

We send one email when import finishes and one report each month with how often AI agents recommended your products.

Just the subdomain name. No https://, no .bigcartel.com. Lowercase letters and numbers only.

Big Cartel product limit. Big Cartel caps every shop at 500 products. The TokoSales Core plan supports up to 500 products at the same price, so the limits line up. If you ever exceed 500 products, that is a Big Cartel platform constraint, not a TokoSales one.
Common questions

What happens after I click Connect?

We hit the Big Cartel public API for your subdomain and pull your products. Public API means no auth token, no app install. You get an email within five minutes confirming the import is done and a link to see your products in the TokoSales seller dashboard.

Can Big Cartel see that I connected to TokoSales?

No. We use the public API endpoints, which means we look like a regular visitor browsing your shop. There is no notification from us to Big Cartel.

My subdomain has dashes or numbers.

Dashes and numbers are fine, as long as the subdomain matches what is in your URL. cool-shop-2026 works.

My store is set to "Maintenance mode" in Big Cartel.

Big Cartel hides products from the public API in maintenance mode. Turn maintenance mode off, connect with us, then turn it back on if you want. We keep your products in our system regardless.
